Medigap or Medicare Supplement plans, unlike Medicare Advantage, give you coverage on top of your Original Medicare benefits. These plans are meant to be used with Original Medicare (Parts A and to cover things like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles that Original Medicare doesn't cover. Medicare supplement plans are not limited to a network of providers, so people who have them can choose any doctor or specialist who accepts Medicare.
