American singer-songwriter Jennette McCurdy is also a filmmaker, podcaster, and former actress. In the Nickelodeon sitcom iCarly (2007–2012), McCurdy had her breakthrough as Sam Puckett, a role that earned her four Kids' Choice Awards in addition to other honours.
