The only difference between playing the conventional game and playing this one is that you take turns as you normally would. It is important to note that this strategy differs from others in that it does not begin by selecting who is X and who is O. As an alternative, you may choose to write an X or an O on any unoccupied square on your turn, and you are free to change your opinion from turn to turn if you like. Your adversary has the capability of doing the same. Whenever a player writes three Xs or three Os in the same row as another player, that player is declared the winner, regardless of whether or not the other player really wrote them.
