This artisan hydrosol is handcrafted in small batches right here on the island of Hawai'i with a combination of organically grown Blue Hawaiian Turmeric and Yellow Turmeric. These plants were lovingly grown and harvested here at Miracle Botanicals. In Hawai'i, we call Turmeric 'olena (oh-LEN-uh).
The Turmeric plant has been known for its medicinal and healing properties for centuries, and is widely used for reducing inflammation in the body and balancing the digestive system.
As a hydrosol, Turmeric is moisturizing and soothing to the skin, making an excellent mist for the face and body. It has also been said to relieve bruising swelling, pain, and many types of inflammatory skin conditions. Try it on acne, eczema, or even bug bites.
The medicine of this plant is associated with soothing all types of over-reactions -- emotional, physical, and energetic.
In addition, this hydrosol has been artisinally alchemized in a copper alembic still. Copper has been used for its healing properties by many different cultures, including the ancient Mesopotamians, Indians, and Egyptians.
