Has anyone bought any dining tables for themselves recently? We really want to make a gift for our parents and buy them a large, high-quality dining table. And the chairs, of course, so that everything would be a set.

Well very commendable, the main thing is not to buy furniture in the mass market, such furniture will not differ in quality. Rather the opposite. If you want to buy quality furniture, you should look for it in stores that work directly with reputable furniture stores.

I've been around quite a few different stores and haven't found any decent options yet. We were going to buy a table for about 7-9 thousand, but so far we have only found a wooden table for 1400. I don't think it will be of high quality.
